Why WISSAI exists & what We do

We are an effective national platform for women in sport. Women in sport continue to face unequal pay, exclusion from leadership, and institutional barriers that limit their growth and recognition.

WISSAI provides a structured national platform for advocacy, support, and transformation, empowering women to speak out, access opportunities, and drive meaningful change across all sporting codes in South Africa while promoting dignity, fairness, and accountability.

We advocate for policy reform, support women through mentorship and reporting pathways, and partner with institutions to build accountability across sport.
